Nothing Magazine may’s 17 issue publishes an interview with SIX, the working name for London photographer Simon Barker, discussing his work Pervateen. Photographed in Prague, the project documents youth subculture grouped around pervatin, an illegal methamphetamine which has become the drug of choice of the chzech underground scene. On the six website, you’ll find the whole series as well as interesting reviews of the work providing detailed background information on the social context it emerged from, including biogs for all those photographed in the series.
